New announcements... at AWA and elsewhere
Following Anime Weekend Atlanta, we got word of some new announcements that we didn't report earlier, and it's hard to tell whether these were announced there or not. So here they all are...

AnimeVillage officially announced the much rumored Saber Marionette J to X TV series that was aired last year. Also announced was the rights to do Vision of Escaflowne on DVD, which met with much enthusiasm from fans, but production will wait until the series is dubbed into English.
Viz announced that they will be shipping their Pokémon movie books a month earlier than expected. Mewtwo Strikes Back will now ship in time for the film's release on November 12, while Pikachu's Vacation will ship a week later.
The Cartoon Art Museum is featuring an exhibit on anime. Entitled "Anime: Made In Japan", the exhibition opened on October 9, and showcases animation cels and three-dimensional objects from series including Astro Boy, Tenchi Muyo!, Ranma 1/2, and Pokémon. The exhibit will continue through November.
