Readers Find Super Mario Bros. 3 Book Filled With Grabbing Pussy Poetry

Talk about tonal whiplash. Gamers hoping to read-up on the history of Nintendo's third installment in the Super Mario Bros. game series might want to flip through the book first to make sure they aren't victims of a misprint. The Super Mario Bros. 3 book by Alyse Knorr has the appropriate cover, but the inner contents are a copy of the poetry collection Grabbing Pussy by Karen Finley. One is a book about the history of a beloved Nintendo Entertainment System game while the other is creative prose about "the psychosexual obsessions that have burst to the surface of today's American politics."

This major literary malfunction surprised at least two Nintendo fans that ordered Knorr's book. Publisher Boss Fight Books elaborated that the issue was tracked back to the printer. Both books were mirror images to one another from a technical standpoint: same paper type, same number of pages, and similar specifications. The two books ended up in line next to each other on the production line which caused some copies of Finley's book to end up with Knorr's cover. These mixed up versions were then shipped out via Amazon.

If you want a copy of Knorr's book without poems about Anthony Weiner's weiner, the publisher recommends ordering directly from them for now.
