Kuroko's Basketball's Midorima Finds an NBA Team to Match His Hair

Following up Taiga Kagami joining the Chicago Bulls, Kuroko's Basketball character Shintarō Midorima is putting on the 006 jersey for the Boston Celtics.

Historically, the Celtic's #6 belonged to renowned player Bill Russell. The jersey number is now officially retired. Taiga Kagami is wearing 010, possibly a reference to that team's retired #10 jersey belonging to Bob Love.

Gekijōban Kuroko no Basuke Last Game, the anime film adaptation of Tadatoshi Fujimaki's Kuroko no Basuke Extra Game sequel manga pens in Japan on March 18.
