Attack on Titan Exhibition Goes Overseas, Starting with Italy
posted on by Lynzee Loveridge
The Attack on Titan exhibition took over Tokyo in 2014, followed by stops in Oita, Osaka, and Taipei with the exhibit currently running in Sapporo until the end of the month. Its next stop is a large leap out of Asia and into Europe, specifically Italy.
Attack on Titan producer Kensuke Tateishi revealed on Saturday that the exhibit will head to Treviso in northern Italy during the Nipponbashi festival in July. It will then head to Lucca for the Lucca Comics & Games festival in October.
The exhibit mixes large 3D props, realistic recreations of the show's technology, and Hajime Isayama's artwork for an all-encompassing, unique experience. Other areas of the host cities are usually transformed, too. Osaka's subway station's b bathrooms were taken over by characters and a Colossal Titan peered over Oita Station before it met its match after Typhoon Goni knocked it down.
