posted on
T.M. Revolution, the singer who has performed theme songs for such anime as Rurouni Kenshin, Soul Eater, Mobile Suit Gundam Seed, Mobile Suit Gundam Seed Destiny, and Valvrave the Liberator, released a new music video on Saturday for his song "Committed RED" that features animation by Production I.G.
The below video is region-locked and not available in all areas.
The concept of the video is "the song of a man who crosses through the ages and fights" and was animated as a work about "a man who continues his journey of fighting even though he hesitatingly hurts others, and even though society and a normal everyday life have tossed him away."
The song will serve as the theme song for the upcoming Sengoku Basara Sanada Yukimura-den (Sengoku Basara: The Legend of Sanada Yukimura) PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 3 game, which will ship in Japan in September.
T.M. Revolution released the song's single — which is a double A-side single that also features the song "Inherit the Force" — on Wednesday. Additionally, T.M. Revolution will release his 20th anniversary best of album titled 2020 -T.M. Revolution ALL TIME BEST- on May 11.
T.M. Revolution is producing the fictional male idol project "B-PROJECT," which is getting both a video game and a television anime adaptation. He is also performing the upcoming theme song for Gen Urobuchi and Taiwanese company PILI's Thunderbolt Fantasy: Tōriken Kōki puppet television series that will premiere this summer.
