Sengoku Basara: Sanada Yukimura-Den Slated for September in Japan

Kadokawa's Weekly Famitsu magazine is reporting on Thursday that CAPCOM will release its "stylish hero action" game Sengoku Basara: Sanada Yukimura-Den (Sengoku Basara: The Legend of Sanada Yukimura) for the PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 3 in September.
Famitsu will reveal more information about the game, including information on the franchise's first appearance of adolescent Sanada Yumikura (Historical Japanese names are listed family name first here, while modern names are listed given name first.), as well as his father Sanada Masayuki, his brother Sanada Nobuyuki, and the story of the Sanada clan in a six-page spread in the magazine issue on Thursday.
CAPCOM previously streamed the game's first promotional video in December, and its first gameplay video last month.
The "first longform drama" game in the Sengoku Basara game franchise will chronicle the life of Sanada Yukimura, and will also tell the "hidden destiny" of Sanada Yukimura and Date Masamune at the summer encampment of Osaka.
The last major entry in the game franchise was Sengoku Basara 4 Sumeragi, which debuted on PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 3 on July 23. The CAPCOM franchise already inspired three television anime series, one anime movie, a live-action series with two compilation films, and several stage plays.
