Sengoku Basara Game's Live-Action Show Spawns 2 Films

The live-action television series adaptation of CAPCOM's popular action game Sengoku Basara is spawning two compilation films this November. Sengoku Basara -Moonlight Party- Remix will compile this past summer's television series into two parts with unaired secret content added.
Kento Hayashi (Arakawa Under the Bridge) and Kōhei Takeda (Hana Zakari no Kimi-tachi e: Ikemen Paradise, Kamen Rider Kiva) led the show's cast as Date Masamune and Sanada Yukimura, respectively. In addition to providing the ending theme, GACKT (Fûrin Kazan, New Fist of the North Star, Tono to Issho, Shiki) starred as Oda Nobunaga. (Historical Japanese names are listed family name first, while modern names are listed family name last.)
The show premiered on July 12 on MBS, and it just ended last month. The films will open in Tokyo's Cine Libre Ikebukuro on November 24, and then they will play in Osaka's Theatre Umeda in mid-December.
