Ayana Taketatsu Voices Snow Brand Coffee Mascot Girl

Last month, Snow Brand Milk Products announced the launch of the second season of their "Our Yukiko-tan Project." Yukiko-tan, the company's mascot for their boxed coffee products, had her design decided in April of 2013. However, the five runner up versions of Yukiko-tan were so popular that Snow Brand Milk Products decided to use their second season of the campaign to give them their own names. After 10,059 suggestions were taken into account, the final identities of each Yukiko-tan were announced this week.
From left to right, the names of the Yukiko-tans are:
- Palmtop Yukiko-tan
- MilCrown Yukiko-tan
- Maid-droid Yukiko-tan
- Ushi Musume Yukiko-tan
- Sweet Jet Yukiko-tan
- Bonbori Yukiko-tan
In addition to the names of new names of the Yukiko-tan group, Snow Brand Milk Products announced that they would be giving Ushi Musume Yukiko-tan, the lead Yukiko-tan, an official voice, portrayed by none other than popular voice actress Ayana Taketatsu (Oreimo, The World God Only Knows).
Snow Milk Brand will soon begin the next phase of their "Our Yukiko-tan Project," which will be the formation of a Yukiko-tan idol group, under the supervision of Ayana Taketatsu herself. Though the official timeframe has yet to be announced, they will be taking auditions and applications soon. The group will perform hits composed by Yō Yamazaki, known for his work with AKB48, including their hit single "Heavy Rotation."
