Atlus: Dragon's Crown RPG Will Still Be Released in Japan
posted on by Egan Loo
The official Japanese account for Atlus reported on Thursday that it will still release its 2D action role-playing game Dragon's Crown as scheduled on July 25 in Japan, despite the Atlus brand's owner Index Corporation filing for civil rehabilitation bankruptcy. According to Atlus, both the packaged retail edition and the download version will still be released.
Atlus assured fans that since the game's multi-player support and shared save data feature will both be running on the PlayStation Network's servers, they will be guaranteed to work as long as that network itself is running.
Atlus added that sales of download content for Shin Megami Tensei IV, as well as the sales and the demo release of Etrian Odyssey Untold: The Millennium Girl (Shin Sekaija no Meikyū: Millennium no Shōjo) will continue in Japan.
