Nexon Gets Ghost in the Shell: S.A.C.'s Online Game Rights

The online game company Nexon announced on Friday that it signed an agreement with Japanese publisher Kodansha to develop and release a PC online game based on the anime titles Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex, Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex 2nd GIG, and Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex: Solid State Society. It plans to release the game worldwide.
Nexon was established in Seoul, but it moved its headquarters to Japan in 2005. Nexon's releases in Japan include MapleStory, Arad Senki (Dungeon & Fighter/Dungeon Fighter Online, the inspiration for the Slap Up Party: Arad Senki- anime), Mabinogi, Sudden Attack, and about 60 other games. It currently operates in over 100 countries and territories in Asia, North America, Europe, and elsewhere.
