Madoka Magica Kyubey G-Shock Watch to Be Sold

The electronics manufacturer Casio will offer a watch under its G-Shock brand that features the character Kyubey from the Puella Magi Madoka Magica television anime series. Pre-orders for the G-Shock DW-5600 Kyubey watch will be available from April 28 to May 31, and the watch will ship in December.
Kyubey's face will appear on the back and face of the white watch with silver buttons and a pink G-Shock logo. The watch face will measure 48.9 millimeters high (about 1.93 inches) by 42.8 millimeters wide (1.69 inches) by 13.4 millimeters deep (0.53 inches), and the band will be adjustable from 145 to 205 millimeters (5.71 to 8.07 inches). The watch will have standard G-Shock functions and features such as a timer, alarm, backlight, and water resistance.
G-Shock is collaborating with the manufacturer Medicom Toy to produce the watch. Medicom Toy offered a plush doll version of Kyubey last year.
The Kyubey watch will debut at the Nico Nico Choukaigi event, which will be held at Chiba's Makuhari Messe center on April 28-29. People will be able to pre-order the watch at booths in both the free and fee areas of the event.
