Senran Kagura Burst Game Tissues to Be Offered
posted on by Jennifer Sherman
The Japanese entertainment company Marvelous AQL will give away facial tissues in a box with art inspired by the Senran Kagura Burst -Guren no Shōjotachi- game. The company will offer the tissues at its booth at the Nico Nico Choukaigi (Super Convention) event, which the video streaming service Nico Nico Douga will hold at Chiba's Makuhari Messe center on April 28-29.
Marvelous AQL's Nico Nico Choukaigi booth will also feature talking cutouts of the game's five "snake girls" of the Hiritsuhebi Girls Academy. The Nintendo 3DS side-scrolling action game featuring female ninjas will ship in Japan for 5,980 yen (about US$74) on August 30.
Enterbrain's Weekly Famitsu magazine announced earlier this month that a Senran Kagura Burst television anime series has been green-lit. Marvelous Entertainment released the original Senran Kagura title in September 2011.
Marvelous AQL came into existence last October when Marvelous Entertainment merged with the game publisher AQ Interactive and the mobile app developer Liveware. It began production on an Evangelion browser game shortly after, and the company established its MAQL Europe Limited subsidiary in the United Kingdom this month.
