Rock Band MUCC to Perform Inu × Boku SS Opening Theme

The J-Rock band MUCC will perform the opening theme song "Nirvana" for the anime adaptation of Cocoa Fujiwara's manga Inu × Boku SS. The anime will premiere in Japan on January 12.
MUCC previously performed the opening theme song for the Night Raid 1931 television anime series and the ending theme song for the Zombie-Loan television anime series. The band released its first North American album in 2008, and it has performed approximately 50 concerts in North America, including ones at the New York Anime Festival in 2007 and at Otakon in 2006.
Naokatsu Tsuda (Shikabane Hime: Kuro, Squid Girl) is directing the Inu × Boku SS television anime series at david production. Haruko Iizuka (The IDOLM@STER, Toaru Kagaku no Railgun) is handling the character design and acting as chief animation director, Saizo Nemoto (Towa no Quon, Phi-Brain - Kami no Puzzle) is handling the series composition, and Takuya Satō (Strawberry Marshmallow, Mayoi Neko Overrun!) is supervising the scenario and setting for the series.
The series will star Rina Hidaka as Ririchiyo Shirakiin and Yūichi Nakamura as Sōshi Miketsukami.
