Sega: Valkyria Chronicles 3 Will Not Be Localized in English

Hiroshi Seno, Sega's team manager of console sales, said that the company's Valkyria Chronicles 3 : Unrecorded Chronicles game will not be localized for North America and Europe. Seno cited the low English sales of Valkyria Chronicles 2, which did not justify the money spent on localization; the publisher links its decision on whether to localize titles based on sales of previous games in a franchise.

Seno added that Sega will decide on whether to offer Valkyria Chronicles 3 as a downloadable game on the PS Vita system when it meets with Sony. The game shipped in Japan on January 27 and inspired the Senjō no Valkyria 3: Ta ga Tame no Jūsō video anime project.
