Hyperdimension Neptunia Mk. 2 Lets Users Upload Costumes

The game developer Compile Heart posted the "Costume Canvas Template" for its Chōjigen Geimu Neputyūnu mk2 (Hyperdimension Neptunia Mk. 2) role-playing game sequel on Wednesday. Users can download the template and create their own custom designs for their characters' costumes. Users can then upload their costumes in PNG or JPG format to their PlayStation 3 console's photo album and import the costume directly into the Hyperdimension Neptunia Mk. 2 game, where they can outfit their characters as they wish.

Compile Heart will release Hyperdimension Neptunia Mk. 2 in Japan on August 18. NIS America released the first Hyperdimension Neptunia game for the PlayStation 3 in North America this past February, and Tecmo KOEI released the game in Europe in March. In addition to the Costume Canvas Template, Compile Heart offers a free electronic suit costume (pictured below) that users can download at home and then upload to their PlayStation 3 for their characters.
