posted on by Egan Loo
The 500th issue of ASCII Media Works' Dengeki PlayStation magazine is announcing on Thursday that an adventure dungeon role-playing game adaptation of the Puella Magi Madoka Magica anime has been green-lit for release on the PSP system on March 15, 2012.
Yusuke Tomizawa (God Eater) and Yoshinao Doi (Steins;Gate, Madoka Magica) are producing the Puella Magi Madoka Magica Portable game, and the anime's head writer Gen Urobuchi (Fate/Zero) is collaborating on the project's planning and supervising the scenario. The studio Shaft (Bakemonogatari) is producing the animation just as it did for the original Madoka Magica anime. Bandai Namco Games is the publisher.
The regular edition will cost 6,480 yen (about US$84), while the limited-pressing pre-order edition will cost 11,990 yen (US$155).
