Although he is ridiculed by his classmates for being able to "hear cats' conversations," it also brings him closer to Mizuno, a cute classmate that he has a crush on. Later, Junpei learns from a priest's cat that he must not let any others know of his curse. The results would be two-fold: the bearer of the news would also be cursed and the curse would spread at a faster rate!
