Trivia:

The show was infamous for having very limited animation plus a very heavy reliance on "cut-ins" to advance scenes. The limited animation was so infamous that when the DVD release for the show came out, Trans-Arts improved the animation for all 11 episodes, and even put the original TV version of episode 1 on the bonus disc for comparison's sake.
