Jennifer Christina "JC" Armack is a completely original character not featured in the game. John Blade's normal sidekick in the game, John "JC" Armack, is killed in the first scene of the anime.

This is arguably the first anime to be adapted from a first person shooter game. Predating Halo: Legends.
