Trivia:
In the first minutes of ep. 4 ("Specular"), we see what is presumably the first human travel via the inflation gates, on February 21st, 2197. The ship makes a jump from "near Titan" to somewhere in the vicinity of a red giant star - and the commander exclaims: "A red giant? Have we succeeded? In travelling 10 light years?" There's a slight problem... there are no red giants within 10 light years of our solar system.
