Trivia:

In ep 2 at 18:59 there is a parody of Yo-Kai Watch's Jibanyan and Komasan on Menko(basically Pogs) and at 21:24 Whisper can be seen.

In ep 2 at 20:24 the Menko Hotaru Shidare is holding has a parody of Yui Hirasawa and Ritsu Tainaka from K-on on it.

In episode 1, multiple fantasy sequences referenced Hajime no Ippo, Saint Seiya, the original Mobile Suit Gundam, and Dragon Quest.

In episode 2, one of the fantasy sequences has a candy mascot dressed up as Kenshiro from Fist of the North Star wandering through a desert.
