While it was reported that the adaptation and ADR process for this series was enjoyable for some of the staff, Marc Handler however noted that the production was a mess. He stated that his scripts were often lacking continuity with the scripts written by other writers. Which resulted the series being an incomprehensible product and unsatisfactory adaptation for him to work on. This is evident as the story of the series progressed in which the production staff had to deal with not only Tatsunoko giving them episode reels in a mismatched order, but also having to view episodes and troubleshoot how they could avoid adapting any of the stories that were considered too violent and too dreary.
