Ghost in the Shell: Standalone Complex 10: Jungle Cruise
1) Scene of first murder digitally darkened to conceal the woman's nudity.
2) Togusa's "Shit!" as he jumps out of the car during the murder video muted.
3) Batou's "Shit!" as the new murder report of a seventh murder comes in muted.
4) Batou's "Dickhead!" as he grabs the CIA guy and slams him into a utility pole muted.
5) Batou's "You piece of shit!" after hearing of the CIA plan to retrieve Marco muted.
Actually, I Am… surprised at the minimal editing of what was a very disturbing episode. I also find it interesting that the only visual edit was to conceal a woman's breasts. The skinned corpses of women and children they had no problem with. Seems the old joke about not being able to show a man fondling a woman's breast but being able to show him cutting it off is almost literally true. Still, this episode stands as a landmark of just how far Adult Swim has come since its inception. Let's hope they keep evolving.
