8-4 Company Will Not Handle Localization of Xenoblade Chronicles 2 Game
posted on by Rafael Antonio Pineda
Video game localization company 8-4 co-founder John Ricciardi posted last month on Twitter that his company will not be handling the localization of Monolith Soft's Xenoblade Chronicles 2 Nintendo Switch game. The company had previously handled the localization of the previous game Xenoblade Chronicles X.
The company has also handled the localization of such games as Fire Emblem Awakening, Drakengard 3, Tales of Vesperia, and NieR:Automata.
Xenoblade Chronicles 2 is scheduled for release sometime this year. Tetsuya Takahashi returns as the game's executive director. The game features character designs by Masatsugu Saitō (Expelled from Paradise, Cyborg 009 Call of Justice). Yasunori Mitsuda, ACE (Tomori Kudō, CHiCO), Kenji Hiramatsu, and Manami Kiyota are returning from the first game to compose the game's music.
