Pokémon Snap Launches on Wii U Virtual Console in N. America

Nintendo released its Pokémon Snap photography game for the Wii U Virtual Console in North America on Thursday. This version adds Wii U GamePad controller support, although it does not use the controller's gyroscope functionality to take pictures. The digital game sells for US$9.99.
The game launched on Wii U Virtual Console in Japan, Europe, and Australia in 2016.
Nintendo previously launched Pokémon Snap on Wii Virtual Console in 2007. The Wii version is also playable on the Wii U. The original game launched on the Nintendo 64 in 1999.
