This series is epic, despite having a unique sense of humor it has a great action sequence and animation it also isn't afraid to show blood and gore. I can imagine a video game comeing out for it in the near future. (I wonder how that would go) Smile
If one punch man gets a live action (preferably done by marvel) who would the cast be and does anyone think it would be a hit?

While this show looks beautiful, that's really all it has going for it at the moment. I expected more but instead I was underwhelmed. The comedy is been hit or miss, with more misses than hits. It seems to have been nothing but hype so far. I'm hoping it gets better soon.

The sensory quality of the animation in this series is palpable. I love it. Not only is the show hilarious, its action is fantastic and the themes are already being very well-established this early on. It's great.
Also, Saitama is well on his way to being my favorite anime character of the year.

The comedic timing works perfectly in OPM. Genos fight with Mosquito Girl was always on edge and nearly ended on a sour note as he got torn apart...only for Saitama to come in for the punchline. Laughing

I'm glad the series is only 13 episodes; the animators and director Shingo can just put all the sweat, blood, and tears for every wild fight scene at the highest quality possible. Felt bad about the piggy and toad getting shredded by the lion beast though; they were kinda cute.

I've got a pretty iron stomach when it comes to gore, but that looter getting desiccated...

EUUUUUUUULGHHHHHHHHHH.

But that episode was hilarious. The lion actually waiting for Saitama to finish brushing the dirt out of his costume was the best part,

Totally biased, but I expect this to be the best of this season overall. The animation and adaptation from the manga has been completely on-point, sometimes even more fluid since Murata's art is too mind-blowing to think it's actually supposed to move (it has happened to me with Miura too).

On other note, most (if not all) the characters in Onepunch Man is the author being self-aware. Even though some monsters are a bit more innovative, most of them are chunks of old as hell generic enemies thrown into the routine of daily life (in t he names it gets even more obvious).

Btw, that mosquito noise was so frigging annoying I wanted to smack my screen.

Well, it's listed as a comedy and action series, so I wouldn't stake my expectations to high plotwise. And to clearify something, this series is pretty much only hype and it's awesome.

I also loved that Lion baddy. He was fun and cute. I was saying "SHUT UP, YOU'LL DIE" so that his live could be spared, but he didn't listen to me and BAM, he was smashed. Sad

So far, OPM and Owarimonogatari are my favorite of the season. It's impossible for me to stop laughing at how Saitama's character design goes from boring egg headed hero to super serious, badass superhero. Genos is a great addition to the show. I love those characters that are super serious about what they do, and how they motivations clash with others.

The One Punch KO is likely to be the running gag of the show, and it might get boring at some point, but the way it's been handled until now has been amazing and hilarious (mosquito girl, for example, was the best KO of this episode).

I do hope that the animation keeps up being as awesome as it has been during this two episodes.

I'm looking forward to watching the following episodes and more of Saitama x Genos. They're meant to be together, forever. Laughing

The action scenes involving Genos feel alive here. There are a lot of cool mechanics involving how Genos uses the propeller to move around and battle in mid air.

I really enjoyed the first two episodes, but I'm a little worried about how long they can keep it going. Saitama one shotting everyone has been both awesome and hilarious so far, but I have a feeling it could get stale after a while unless they change it up. None of the villains have really felt threatening so far since we all know that Saitama's going to show up and live up to his name. Still, the writers seem to know what they're doing so hopefully they'll change it up soon.

AOTS right here. This show's hilarious and extremely fun. And Genos is so freaking cool.

I like how Saitama killed that Mosquito Girl.

Within the comedic action of the series so far, I'm liking to see how it'll go, until to the very end.

Besides, the fun has just begun! X3

As far as I remember, neither Saitama himself or anyone else ever calls him "One Punch Man", so it's not really his alter ego. In fact, he doesn't have one.
MANGA SPOILERS: spoiler[Well, later on the Hero Association decides that it's time to give some rookies their hero names and they named him "Caped Baldy"...]

They've been doing an amazing job with the adaptation. To the people who are concerned about it getting stale later on, don't worry. This will definitely be one of the best of the season. I just hope they can keep up this quality of animation.
