I can't believe people even care about this show after for badly it degenerated into a generic battle-shounen with a slight mafia theme after 5 episodes.

Anime adaptions tend to do that. They never turn out as good as the original manga/light novel/game/whatever came first.

The drama CD adaptation (which closely adapts the manga script) started long before the abortive attempt at an anime adaptation. Originally meant to be three volumes long it sold so well further volumes were announced. Not really a shock that people following the manga for years would be interested in the next two albums that adapt it for audio.
Unrelated to your comment, but given the heavy involvement of the mangaka in the drama CDs and her extremely poor health at the moment nobody was particularly shocked by this announcement.

I apologize, I didn't know that the drama CDs were their own thing. I assumed they were related to the anime.

Nah, this is actually the fault of the source material. The anime was very faithful to the manga.

So I have to know this. How do the drama cds deal with nico?
I mean do they just say that people sign stuff or does he talk a lot?
Also does he also have the same voice actor/ speech style as he does in the anime?
And to answer the question yes a lot of people still care about the charcters especially Nic and worick. I can speak from experience on that point.
