That's awesome news. I enjoy the manga and this seems like a show that Bones will adapt. Wonder when this will air though with their lineup being a bit stacked now even for next year. (at least 3/4 now)

I love me BONES stuff and I'm a literary nut, so this sounds like it could be a lot of fun. Definitely up for this one!

Wow didn't expect Bones to announce another anime so soon. I kinda doubt this will be 2015 since they already have Noragami and Concrete Revolutio for Fall. Wonder what other kind of future plans they have..

Excellent! I knew this would get an anime one day but it's being done by BONES, that's icing on the cake!

Never read the source material but I dig the art nouveaux/Mucha inspired art, hopefully it stays for the anime.

YES! I'm so glad this is getting an anime adaption, and BONES as the studio is fine with me.

Also, here's the official PV for the manga, for those who aren't familiar with the series;

This actually sounds like a really good plot, unfortunately the covers which seem to indicate this will be a yaoi fest make me lose any interest.

Well this probably isn't going to make much sense to those of us who aren't Japanese literature buffs.

I've seen some of the manga (haven't read it) and from that it looks like an extreme action series; I wouldn't have guessed it was about literature.

Renowned Japanese authors re-imagined has having superpowers? Sure, why not? Sounds like it could be something.

Oh yeah, that movie existed.

A mystery solving anime. I'm not ragging on this specific series but have there been any recent mystery solving anime that did well? All of them seem to fall short somehow and turned out to be snoozefests (I'm not sure if you can call Danganronpa a mystery anime because they abridged the main points pretty well and knew that they couldn't cover all or any of the free-time events in the game).

Let us all just believe that movie was never made, and that only the comic books exist...

Hmm, I wonder if anyone that is familiar with the manga would care to comment? Personally, I didn't get that vibe.
