Agreed, but Revelations was the best Resident Evil since 4 so this is a step in the right direction assuming it doesn't change anything.

No more 3DS. The first Revelations was the most deliciously visual game for it.

Revelaitons was pretty good if you forget the cutscenes. A proper B movie story would be nice and more enemy variety. That is all i need. RE 6 is also way better then it´s reputation.

6 was just a mess of a game. I did some fun out of it (only payed 15 though) but the game had so many sequences that made you question if the game had a proper playtesting. The story which even by Resident Evil standards was just hilariously bad with them constantly trying to up the ante (the amount of forms Simmons had was just downright hilarious).

That trailer was creepy for revelations 2. I wonder if they will play around with spin off games like revelations and remastered originals before doing a proper RE 7

I've always been of the opinion that they never were. They could STARTLE, but that's not the same thing as horror. Furthermore, the games always encouraged getting rid of enemies and blasting them with increasingly high-powered weaponry with ammo becoming more and more abundant the further into the game you got. To be honest, dropping the "horror" pretense was probably for the best.
