What a neat looking figure! I'd like to see how they cast that (How It's Made? ).
Btw, the link to the full-screen of the second picture is broken.

too many figmas and nendoroids are being released.
I cannot afford them nor do I want most of them.
the anime bubble is going to pop again.

I don't think that's true...I have 10 figures on pre-order, and would get more if I had the money. Max Factory seems to just be getting better and better with sculpts, and picking more diverse licenses and branching out into western titles. They are even making a Sexy Commando figma!
Maybe there's just nothing that appeals to you personally.
As for this review, it looks awesome. I bet it would even look better backlit. I haven't seen the Cobra series, just the movie, but it's on my list.

are all 10 of your figures pre-ordered for the same month?
6 figmas coming out in SEPT
6 in OCT
7 in NOV
that does not even include nendoroids
lets say each costs 35$, that is 665$
that does not include shipping which will be between 100-200$
figma prices have also been going up, 45$ MSRP is quite common now
the other thing is, half of these figmas are worthless
figures like hidamari sketch are brand new and sell for 25$ because no one wants them and sellers can't get rid of them.

All this time I though his name was Crystal Boy. Bowie makes a lot more sense.

You have to admit it's a pretty impressive Figma.
I'm glad they've been branching out in the past few years.

Yeah, now instead of just animu girls and other manga\anime\vn characters they make figures based on movies and videogames. Can't wait for the MGS2 Snake and SH2 Pyramid-head to be released!

Great figure pre-orderd it long ago i'm a big Cobra sci-fi and old anime fan and i don't care for figures of Moe girls those can go to hell for all i care.
So something like this was made for me it's also a really unusual figure even my parents where kinda struck by how awesome it was they had never seen something like it.

So is he named after Jim Bowie or David Bowie?

Since Cobra is from the 70s and seems to be pretty influenced by the pop culture at the time, my guess would be David Bowie.

At first glance, I thought it was a Peter Gabriel figma.
