That's unfortunate to hear, I hope they put that as a deleted scene when the movie come out on DVD/blu-ray.

Forget a deleted scene, just add it back in. I can't believe movies are even being cut for time anymore when we have things like Wolf of Wall Street going 3 hours and nearly every single cape movie taking two and a half hours. I thought audiences wanted more for their $15 tickets plus $40 of food?

It'll be an incentive to get the Director's Cut discs.

Audience don't want to sit that long (that's why I didn't tell my companions how long Spiderman 2 was Laughing ), and theaters want more showings per day.

Sounds like they do a lot of test screenings, and I guess that was were the emphasis for removing content came from.

They'll probably add him back in the Japanese release.

That is a possibility, but I doubt that. But as I said, I'm hoping it'll be included in the deleted scene for the DVD/blu-ray release.

I would rather see it included in an extended version of the movie.

I wasn't impressed with the movie, but I like it enough it'll sit next to my other Godzilla bluray movies.

Well that will depend. They'll either put it in the extended version or put in the deleted scene feature. However it'll be put in, I doubt the director will permanently eliminate this scene forever.

That's a shame...

But I'm sure they will add it to a director's cut. That would be lovely.

Will Akira Takarada's cameo be dubbed into international languages?
