Theyd sell a lot more copies if they made it physical and packed promo cards like every other yugioh game. Not particularly interested in a digital release for this as much as I want an updated yugioh.

Taking into account there's free alternatives for playing YGO online, one could wonder why they're bothering in releasing this.

There is also a $9.99 alternative for PS3 and 360 with 6000 cards. The only reason to get the 3DS version for portability. |

That's happening in Europe actually. Which I now just went to check the article and they actually point this out. Oops. |

Well if outdated card lists and rules don't bother Konami, I guess that means we could easily see the GBA and DS YGO games show up on the Wii U Virtual Console for nostalgic purchases.
I mean hey, gotta sell better then those NES Sports games right? |

Biggest draw of the Tag Force and similar games is the visual novel elements coupled with fully voiced and animated duels. Build up friendships and relationships and claim your waifu in the end https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CE8BOlFhSmY I'd rather play with my waifus then nerds in their 20s and 30s on some online program myself... American releases remove all the voice acting and stuff though. Digital only seems odd since these games also generally come with cards. Oh well, |
