Curious to know what the project is announcing. Hopefully a sequel or something like Gundam Build Fighters.

It'll probably be another manga, or worse, photo novels. Still, I'd love to see a continuation all the same.

I'm totally down for more Build Fighters as long as it's of similar quality to the first season.

If it has the similar style as Gundam Build Fighters, then I would be quite happy.

This show was horrendous. Just an unapologetic toy commercial. Why would they make a sequel?

Oops, answered my own question!

While that's undoubtedly true, and you people say it every chance you can, most other Gundams at least have a more serious subtext in drama and sometimes romance. Usually the drama comes in the form of a large scale conflict to where the Gundams and other mobile suits are treated usually just as tools, like tanks or jets, not the iconic god-like status they're given in Build Fighters.

That said, it turned out better than I had hoped, it gave us Rinko and some other nice women.

If you wanted serious war drama, you can look elsewhere. Build Fighters was only concerned with one thing: having fun. It was a celebration of the franchise and the fandom with great characters and awesome battles.

SEED was terrible and so is this.

Except it's not fun and not awesome. It was just stupid corporate pandering to the nth degree, worse than any other Gundam series before. Just a lot of terrible ideas that barely frame the blatant marketing.

Maybe if you hate Gundam or ONLY like Gundam for the serious stories. To people who love mecha as a franchise, this show was amazing

Yeah, no. I love mecha. Build Fighters isn't even a mecha show. Nobody's using actual mecha. They're playing a game with toys. I can do that at home. I don't want to watch a show about it.

Well, Oobari Masami certainly seems to think its a mecha show, and I'm pretty sure that he's more of an expert on this than you are.
