Is this series as bad as the ANN ratings indicate? If so, does it have anything redeemable that might have compelled Sentai to license it and even give it the BD/Dub treatment?

Aww yeah, Shining Bread! Saw 4 episodes of this show and it was entertaining enough. From what I watched it's more character driven than it was action.

This gets a dub?! I saw ALL of Shining Tears x Wind and while not the same thing it was horrible.
How can this get a dub but more modern shows, shows that would take more advantage of Blu-Ray's image quality, like Total Eclipse do not? ...though I'll likely buy this. I'm an inveterate ADV fan and a compulsive Sentai/Maiden buyer. |

I like it tremendously when it was just about cute women baking and delivering bread in an idyllic setting. I could do without the whole latter half of the series, though. |
