Haven't heard all that much about it, but it's been something I've been interested in watching for quite sometime.

Good job Discotek.

So glad they picked it up! I only have one volume of the original Geneon release (vol. 5) and have been wanting to catch the rest of the series, but haven't been able to. Also excited they picked up the two ep. OVAs. Thanks once again, Dsicotek!

Have to say I wasn't expecting this. I partially expected Viz to rescue it since their re-release of the manga is selling well. Still pretty great news though.

This is one of the weirder licenses they've picked up mainly due to it being more recent compared to their other stuff.

Never did see the series when Geneon released it. From the description, it sounds like Ikki Tousen.

Surprised there is enough interest to warrant this. I know fans, like myself, of the manga clamored for ages for the unedited versions. That's the manga though. The anime was alright but the unedited manga is vastly superior IMHO. Surprised there was enough demand to warrant a re-release of the anime series.

It's basically what Ikki Tousen would be, if Ikki Tousen didn't totally suck.

Ikki Tousen was very similar to TT in that the manga had a lot more depth and plot to it than the anime version did. As IT progressed each consecutive season became more about boobies and ass. Now I happen to love both, especially nice booties, but I do want some plot too. The manga for both shows incorporates both.

It's a fun series to watch. I wanted to get it for a friend but the discs are too expensive to get. Glad they're rereleasing it.

Interesting, I wasn't expecting to ever see this again, let alone from Discotek of all companies. I already have the series but the box is falling apart after so long, and takes up a lot of unnecessary space so I may sell what I've got and re-buy it via this new version.

Bomb a Head?

Anyway, I always thought it was hilarious how the flashback in this show lasts longer than what we get of the main story.

And I thought it was unfortunate that the most uninteresting characters were part of the flashback - and by the time the flashback was over -

"That's all we have time for. See you again, some time never..."

Lively characters, great dynamic, fun dub, it's a good series if the price is right.
