Sure. But now he'll likely be broke and unemployed and maybe even facing some jail time. Yeah, hopefully all those anime fanatics will bail him out of this one.

I dont think japan has ridiculous monetary judgments against individuals like in america.
not sure on that though.

In Japan, getting arrested is pretty much like a leper to employers.
