I'd imagine it'll be close to Oreimo price since they likely won't be dubbing it. |

Better start saving up then. At least Aniplex makes their releases worth it. The swag that came with the Madoka sets have made them more than worth the price for me. That is assuming that it comes with a comparable amount of swag. |

Is it an import or an actual release here? Granted, Bakemono is a hugely successful and popular series among people in Japan who pay real money to own it. I don't believe you'd be seeing this for under $100 bucks either way, even 3 years after initial release across the Pacific. The business practice might screw over a bunch of would be customers, but they'll still make tidy profit every single time, given that the anime in question is this big. |

http://aniplexusa.com/oreimo/ They sold 16 episodes of Oreimo in a nice package for 60 bucks (on DVD). I don't see why this would be over 100 unless they dub it... which doesn't really seem viable with this type of anime. Probably more like 70-80 because of BD. |

I base my speculation off of Fate/Zero's style of release, not Oreimo's. But the article updated and it's not an import, so I guess $60-70 sounds right. |

Well the reason Fate/Zero was so expensive is because it released at the exact same time as the Japanese version, so you're paying for an immediate release. This is a 3 year old release. |

Not an import, Blu-Ray only, no dub.
That's interesting. |

You and me both. This makes me very happy that it's confirmed BD release. Hopefully it does well so they release Nise too. |

Well that should shave off some of the price a bit I hope. So instead of being insanely priced, it will just be absurdly priced. *Is still an instant pre-order though.* I really wish they would seriously consider a dub though....SO much talking in this show that reading it strains my eyes...... I'LL TAKE IT.
Though, uh, having the commentaries with subs included would be nice. Since it's a Blu-Ray only release, I assume this is being precisely aimed at fans of this show rather than an average consumer able to enjoy subs. So, commentaries with subs please? I wouldn't even mind if there weren't any other extras included! I mean, it's the characters speaking according to a script written by Nisioisin himself! That's material from the author, right there! (I'm talking to air, I feel. I should probably blast an email off instead...) |

Sounds like this will be more along the lines of the Madoka release (albeit without a dub). That's good.
