I wish we had a Studio Ghibli in America that would bring us Michel Ocelot's work. Sad "Princes and Princesses" is the bomb diggity and I want to see more!

Still waiting for a Cardfight!! Vanguard and Milky Holmes crossover OVA. They already cross-over in the TV show, but a full OVA would be awesome.

Thanks for the Good Smile pictures.

If that was a 'blowout', I'm glad to see ACE is doing its job. Let's hope ANN covers the real 2012 convention.

We are indeed covering ACE, but based on what I've heard, if you think that one's going to be the "real" convention, you may be very disappointed. Both events are a touch depressed.

Hopefully Disney might handle it? If not, a foreign film distributor in the US could the distribution of Ocelot's work.

Of course, fans could also buy plenty of merchandise at the booth, including some event-exclusive items such as a handful of key frame artbooks from the Macross Frontier movie signed by famed Macross creator and Satelite executive Shoji Kawamori himself.

Oh man... I'm getting tempted here.

I can see someone in Japan will trying to auction it off in the future.
Right now, I'm happy with Madoka Magica and Denpa Onna key frame artbooks...

Is that because of lingering effects from the earthquake and tsunami, or the politics that has brought about the ACE and TAF split?

One would think, it was because it is the Tokyo Anime Fair. ANN regularly covers such events, and related events.
