Looks like Panty and Stocking with Garterbelt Season 2 won't be too far off now.

Dunno. I guess it depends on their relationship with Gainax, but I'm not holding my breath.

If Anno can produce Rebuild of Evangelion through Khara, I don't see how PSG would be too much of an issue.

Imaishi was apparently a storyboard artist on ep. 6 of The Mystic Archives of Dantalian, so it doesn't seem like he left Gainax on bad terms, though to be fair I have no idea when that show was storyboarded.

Under...they mean "at least", right?

Sorry for being Captain Obvious, it's just that I'm 22 and this wording gave me false hope for a moment >_>;

EDIT: Also, may as well copy-paste what I said in the last thread, since I was late to the party anyway:

looks like some of the people who made me fall in love with Gainax in the first place are branching out on their own...

I'm worried that in these tough economic times, Gainax will crumble, and this new Studio (I guess it's called Trigger Inc?) will also, well, crumble 8I

It's worrisome indeed but I still wish them luck, and I plan on supporting them as much as I possibly can Smile

I really hope they do well ; w ;

No, most likely under. Gotta love those nubile under-25 interns, Bill-approved! Laughing

Still, that's age discrimination!

Otsuka-san asked me to promote this...
They also have a Facebook page!
Their information is in English there, too, so please "Like"!

It says:

年齢25歳まで(経験者は不問)
経験不問、経験者優遇

I'm having trouble making any sense out what they're looking for in terms of experience, but it does say "up to 25 years old" in the first line.

But do you live in Japan? Are you a good animator or artist?

No experience required. They're looking for people who can drive, communicate well, and work with Excel/Photoshop. Probably clerical positions (production assistant/animation runner? AFAIK, animators generally aren't paid by salary except at Kyoto Animation).

Haha, no I don't actually Surprised

But like, I'm only 22 right now, and I have dabbled in animation just for fun, not to mention I use photoshop all the time. I'm a halfway decent artist but nothing I'd really brag about.

Still, if they were still recruiting by the time I'm 25, I'd totally learn Japanese, fly on over there, get a place to live and earn a license just so I could work for these guys Anime hyper They're some of my favorites in the industry! (Though I love too many creators and animators as is..!)

Hehe, foolish on my part, just wishful thinking is all Razz
