Sadly, though, the Berserk Twitter guy seems to suggest that Puck isn't in the new version. Crying or Very sad I also doubt there's an audience for the film. They should just do an OVA so they can get away with more.

Update: @Northstarblog did in fact find a screen-grab of Puck. I misunderstood what he said when he told me the Puck pic I linked was in the manga. He meant that we're getting a different interpretation in the anime.

There's quite a few scenes from the latter half of the Golden Age in the teasers. 13 volumes is a lot of material to cover for a movie...

So it'll be a 15 hour long film?

I choose to interpret "film project" as a series of movies like Break Blade or Evangelion.

well from the trailer it shows golden age, and im not sure but theres a scene with guts and griff clashing (well if anything we see him with a cannon arm then we know it goes past the eclipse.

but i think it be watered down version, because u see skull knight and i don't see how even if it was 2 and half hours long how they would fit in even just the golden arc.

also if you count the leaked pictures leaked a few years ago it looks like you can see the fairy (if those are genuine pics) then that means that it goes past golden age and at least to the first demon and not to mention there was a pic with casca with long hair and also you see her with short hair also in the trailer.

EDIT:

ok i just looked at the trailers again and its all golden age arc so it may be the first of many flims.

but it probs be watered down ;( ....maybe we hit lucky and have some 10+ hour long flim Razz

those pics might just be very good fakes.

Hopefully. Seeing the entire golden age arc (and possibly beyond) animated in theatrical film quality through a series of movies would be awesome.

Seeing them attempt to somehow condense a huge chunk of the story into a single film would be... well, horrible. At least it would look pretty.

I really hope so!

Trying to put all of Berserk so far into a movie.... hooooboy. That won't end well.

Wow, I was thinking the same thing, because they are going to need a lot Confused .
Man, I'm really worried about this. I've been wanting to see a Berserk sequel for years, and the very last thing I want is for it to be a huge disappointment. I almost want them to cancel the project... We need to find out who is directing this thing now. Because anyone besides the best of the best will ruin this. Crying or Very sad

I bet it's gonna be a series of movies, my guess is that the first movie will cover the Golden Age arc.

sux big time... no way is a movie long enough to cover anything in detail... maybe if it will be 10+ movies... but it will probably stop due to the lack of founding if we get so lucky for them to announce more then one

I have to think it's a movie series. There's just no conceivable way that you could tell any kind of coherent story in a single movie. I mean, what would it consist of? It seems safe to say that this will at least partially be golden age material. There's absolutely no way, even if it was condensed beyond the realm of all comprehension, that you could tell the entire arc in one movie and alternatively, if they chose to only tell part of the arc, where could they possibly stop and start? It would be pretty much impossible.

Awesome. Hope they make it a series like the new Evangelion movies.
