Err, I'm confused, is this a giveaway for Sengoku Basara or Samurai 7?

Looks to be Samurai 7. Somebody goofed and put Sengoku Basara in the title.

I'm confused as to whether the winner is getting one of 5 combo packs that includes the series both on DVD and Bluray, or whether there are 5 DVD boxsets, and 5 Bluray boxsets to be won separately that will make for 10 winners, or whether it's some unknown combination of DVD set(s) and BD set(s) that total 5! I'm guessing it's the first though.

Also, seems like they had a give away with Samurai 7 within the last year or so. *shrug*

It's been a while since a contest, so it's time to enter and lose again Smile

Samurai 7 has been one of those shows that I am interested in checking out, but was never motivated to buy a dvd. Hopefully I win this DVD set and I'd be very compelled to watch.

i bought the first 4 singles, then after watching part of the 1st disc it kinda fell into my backlog. really great art, and fantastic source material. it'd be cool to get the whole thing.

*fingers crossed*

It looks good but you can definitely tell it's an upscale.

BTW, Amazon has a great deal for the BD set for $19.99 just in case you don't win Anime smile;;.

Here goes nothing. I've been interested in seeing this series for a while now, but I never got around to it. I'm always up for freebies. Smile

It actually is not upscale. Gonzo spent over $300,000 per episode to produce in hi-def. Check the encyclopedia for more info.

I'll stay out of this contest, since I already own volumes 1-4 and 6-7 in the original LE DVD sets (could never find a copy of volume 5 -_-), and have since bought the Blu-Ray collection. I don't think I need another copy of it, so good luck to all those who enter.
