Wha, really? I totally don't remember an announcement on this. If true, though, that is awesome news, and I am most definitely buying it.
Edit: Researching things more, it seems they licensed it during July 2008. Also, their official page no longer contains a single mention of the series. Considering it's been more than a year and there's a no solicitation info, it seems like it has been cancelled and swept under the rug, along with DMP's quickly aborted printing of Megami DX (The StrikerS manga, coincidentally, was serialized in Megami).

You'd think with a movie budget they'd get actual instruments to play the music this time. Or at least buy some less dodgy samples.

Did I just see Nanoha's Raging Heart staff have a freakin' TRIGGER on it?!!
Can't wait for delicious beam spam and befriending action scenes!

It did, but it got utterly overshadowed by their yaoi manga licenses. Not surprising considering that's all DMP is known for.

Wow, as if the first series didn't have the majority focus on Fate enough.
I second the HOLY MOLY RAGING HEART HAS A TRIGGER NOW sentiment.

There isn't such a thing as too much Fate, theres practically a whole cult following her.

You can never have enough of loli Fate. Not to mention you get to see more of her in the outfits she wore in the first season, which weren't shown for very long

I'm probably the only one here who thinks we'll see the movie get to DVD here faster than StrikerS.
*sigh*
Motion me as someone who's curious about the trigger on Raging Heart as well. Even with the cartridge system upgrade, I don't recall this on either staff.
Dramatic effect, most likely... Nanoha: "I'll... I'll... shoot if I have to!" [pan camera and waste 10 minutes showing slow movement of finger squeezing trigger].
Guessing the movie is 90 minutes, I should also assume the typical 23% of time taken up by the transformation scenes multiplied by 4 and hear that's she in the third grade for another 67%.
Despite these negatives, I'll still be there to buy it. Too bad Vita's not in it. I absolutely love that girl's costume adorned with the dead rabbits. Nanoha should adapt the "Don't freakin' mess with me!" style into her dressy medical lab coat.

Pretty sure that's a consequence of being faithful to their fans. That, or their budget isn't as big as you think.
First thought is, "I don't quite like these character designs as much as I used to." Then the flying and lasers start shooting and all is well. Hah! mark those calendars for 1.23!

The trigger is part of the whole redesign to make the 1st series more like A's and StrikerS, I guess. Oh, maybe they wanted more mechanical bits to show for this time.
Now, now, Nanoha is always prompt with her trigger finger. She didn't take longer than necessary to fire Starlight Breaker in the 1st series and I hope that doesn't change for the movie.
If A's and StrikerS are any indication, there ought to be only one transformation sequence if Seven Arcs is smart and know they are working on a movie. Knowing Seven Arcs, I predict that the first half of the movie will be a bit plodding while the second half will be much more awesome!

You'll get no argument from me since it was the story that also got me into the series as well.

Nanoha's a much more fascinating character than Fate.

Yay, more Nanoha and Fate action. I think I saw Arf somewhere too. Also, Raging Heart with trigger action.
Here's hoping that there will be more movies and series where Hayate and the gang get in on the action as well. And of course that StrikerS will get a subbed DVD release. Please?

From what I saw of the series, it seems interesting, so I might check out the film.
