Well, the CGI looks better than it did it during the last trailer. I'm also liking the music, too.
The first movie can't come out over here soon enough. |

Has Funimation announced when they're releasing the first movie this year? I can't seem to access their site at the moment, and there's nothing on 1.0 page on the encyclopedia here for a US release date.

Mirror array: interesting. Giant floating angel-face clock: confusing.

Looks like this is where the story will really be breaking off from the original. I like how they're clearly taking full advantage of the superior animation budget to deliver some dynamic camera angles that will surely ratchet up the intensity of the action sequences - and, knowing Anno, lead to the potential for some REALLY mind-blowing imagery when things finally start to get truly trippy. I just have no idea how they're going to work all this into one two-hour (or so?) film. I can't wait to find out, though. In fact, I feel about ready to EXPLODE with anticipation!!!!!! rrrrrrrrrrrRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Why oh why can't you move away from WMV streaming, Japan? That was outdated four years ago. Especially for what is essentially a commercial for a movie.
I'm not interested so much in whether or not the second movie is going to be particularly good. I'm more curious about whether or not it's going to work at all. They're going to be condensing a huge amount of material into 90 minutes, especially with a new character. |

Looks awesome, I can't wait. Wish they'd hurry up and release the first one over here though.

Has Funi confirmed anything that there will be a blu-ray release for this title? |

The movie is going to have a Blu-Ray release in Japan as Evangelion 1.11. Unfortunately, Funimation licensed 1.01. |

And of course the Japanese publishers won't bother putting in English subtitles, thus preventing me from buying any blu-ray version(sigh...).

Looks like Asuka and Unit 02 get quite a workout, judging by the trailer.
My question is, when will Pen Pen be in a trailer? It's what we're all really clamoring to see. |

I know right? Evangelion is about penguins. Not giant robots, or religion, or psychology. |
