Yay! Galaxy Express 999! I was beginning to wonder if I would be able to see this series in my life time. Sure the animation is dated, but the show is awesome and the storyline is great too.

Wonderful show Smile

I think CrunchyRoll has it as well. And as Live-eviL dropped the show (they were the only ones working on it, and it took them like 3 years to get 33 episodes done) I'll have to go with one of the streams as no one else is likely to pick up such an old one, probably because of length.

I'll go with whoever has higher quality then, but it's a shame we'll never see any DVDs.

Now, now. You give us too much credit.

It was 33 eps in five years Smile

And thank goodness for that. With crunchyroll's region locking, I'd never be able to see it otherwise.

Fruits Basket being streamed? As much as I don't like it, it's certainly one of the most popular shows in its genre. Perhaps this demonstrates the possibility of other fan favourites following suit.
I assume this service isn't free though.

oh, I hope the PSN will get these anime also. I would love to pay to download for these anime. I have been thinking about downloading anime off the Playstation Video Store. This reminds me of this article I read off of Joystiq.

http://playstation.joystiq.com/2008/04/10/survey-says-sony-fails-to-capture-female-gamer-market/

We already have Ouran High School Host Club on PSN. if Fruit Baskets get on PSN. Many female gamer with PS3 and PSP can download those anime and put it on PSP and it'll be anime on the go. There'll be a high sales on PSP in US just so they can download anime off of the PS3, then copy it to the PSP and you know the rest. Funimation and Sony, please put those anime on the PSN.
