Awesome! I own the blu-ray for this series and really enjoyed it! It's one of the earliest shows Hayao Miyazaki worked on.

I always thought it was kind of sad this show's held in so high regard, yet when it finally got an English release, it just came and went with little interest. Unfortunately, I don't think being tied to RetroCrush's paid service will help it get more attention. Hopefully Cineverse syndicates it to other, more popular platforms.
I enjoyed the show, though I had my complaints, and I haven't seen many series of its era.

I always found it odd that Future Boy Conan isn't well known among English-speaking anime fans, especially those who are fans of Miyazaki's works, the show was pretty sucessful in Europe and Latin America, it even got a new Latin American Spanish dub a couple of years ago. Not to mention that Gints Zilbalodis, the director of the recent winner for Best Animated Feature at the Oscars, Flow, cited Future Boy Conan as an inspiration for his movie.

The show wasn't given an official release in the Anglosphere (outside of Asia) until 2021. Even then, it went direct-to-video and hasn't been available on a mainstream platform.

Always happy when a classic anime gets more availability!
