I wonder why didn't Pony Canyon sold this title to even Hidive or Amazon, both got one title each from them this season.

I think it's more "Neither Hidive nor Amazon wanted to simulcast an anime about mahjong" than it was "Pony Canyon didn't license it out to either of them". This looks more like Pony Canyon going "Fine, we'll just have to do it ourselves!" because no one else was interested.

This show is so edgy and low budget but I can't stop watching it. Give it a chance!
