I thought the series was a disappointment as an adaptation, but it was apparently fairly successful on CR. Will probably still check out the dub, though, since I am a little curious to see how some characters will sound in English.

Not that I'm not glad, this was a show I surprisingly found myself invested in, I'm just curious what warrants which show getting a backlog dub at this point because it feels like they've been jumping from season to season.
Also Landon McDonald is the only name I recognize in this cast. |

It's a good question. I can't discern any type of pattern to it, or why it is happening now. It seems like there aren't as many simuldubs this season, at least removing continuations, so maybe these are making up for that? I don't know. It's at least got me slightly hoping that the latest season of Legend of Galactic Heroes might get a dub after all. |
