What the heck?! I read these novels when JNC translated them like 3-4 years ago and they’ve been stalled at 3 volumes forever. Now it’s getting an anime, still with no volume 4 in sight?? I really enjoyed these novels but man am I confused haha.

Completely frozen in the publication novel that still got the manga adaptation running getting a sudden anime announcement?

Well, that sounds like a very recent I'm a Behemoth case.

Yes another one i wouldn't have expected like Behemoth and Vending Machine S2, there are tons of LN on hiatus i've long since gave up seeing in anime ( Look at you Roll Over and Die ( just notice it's no longer on hiatus ) , The Most Notorious Talker, Amaburi S2 ... ) so i wouldn't mind if it became a trend.

I'm not seeing any evidence that isn't still on hiatus, the last novel was in 2020. The manga is ongoing, and the author did put a new short story up on Narou to promote it, but that's it unless you know something a quick google isn't showing me.

You're right there was no cover image on the amazon page i saw but it was the vol 5 of the manga not the LN, so yes it's still on hiatus Sad

I really like this novel but yeah, it hasn't gotten further updates for years. What's published already has enough content for several cours though.
