I've been collecting the cards for awhile, even if I don't really have much interest in playing the game itself. The art is quite nice. And I do enjoy card game series so.. this seems right up my alley

I’d love to read this. Maybe it’ll get me to play the game.

It's like having a little gallery of cool designs. If you're into card game series, you might stumble upon some real gems. Speaking of which, have you checked out spades? The intricate designs on the cards can be a whole new level of aesthetic enjoyment. Even if you're not into playing, the artistry in spades cards might just add that extra flair to your collection.

Is this a reference to High Card or some kind of odd dig at card games in general?

The main protagonist looks to be nearing his 20's, so Liberator may be geared towards an older demographic in the way that the web novel Digimon Seekers is. That project was not fun. Hopefully this will be a better outing!
