Recently watched this in theater. An excellent film, would recommend to anyone (not just those who are already Godzilla fans). A surprisingly sincere and powerful drama story for the human cast, and one of the most frightening takes on Godzilla. Will have to keep an eye on the director's future works.

This film was absolutely fantastic. I never see a movie in theaters twice, but I want to go again ASAP and see it in IMAX this time.

Highest grossing Japanese live action film in the US ever. And well deserved. This is a legitimate Best Foreign Film nominee right here.

I really liked Shin Godzilla, but unfortunately I think Minus One beats it out since it feels more traditional and what I wanted out of a Godzilla movie. Sorry Anno.

I found the ending absurdly sappy. 8/10 for me.

Absurdly sappy... yeah. But what really knocked points off for me that the bad design and awful performance of the CGI Godzilla.
